Support for Windows 7 will be ending soon:
As of September 10, 2020:
- Support for deploying Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 will end.
- Support for the creation or update of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Platform Packs will also end.
As of December 31, 2020:
- Console host support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 will end.
- Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Platform Packs will no longer be available for download in the library.
If your organization will be significantly impacted by the end of life support, please contact your Account Manager to discuss your options. We understand there are some specialty roles that some legacy devices may play for your organization and would like to ensure, to the degree that we are able, you are not impacted by Windows 7 support ending.
