Download a Platform Pack from the SmartDeploy Library
- From the Platform Packs page. Click Actions, and Download
- Select the desired Platform Pack(s), click Download, and yes on the UAC prompt for Smartdeploy Web Tools.
Note: If you don't see the Platform Pack that you're looking for, you may need to submit a Platform Pack Request. - The Platform pack(s) should be downloading. You can view its progress from the Activity dropdown
- Click Platform Packs in the left pane to view your downloaded Platform Packs.
Notes About Where Packs are Stored
This process will save the Platform Packs to C:\SmartDeploy\Platform Packs. C:\ is the default directory for your Distribution point, but will vary where the Distribution Point/Smartdeploy directory is set.
Downloading platform packs when a cloud distribution point is selected will initially download the pack to your local distribution point in the \Smartdeploy\Scratch\ folder prior to uploading it to your cloud distribution point.
