Install the SmartDeploy Console

Review the SmartDeploy System Requirements
Please review the System Requirements article in our User's Guide, which covers the required permissions and ports and other recommendations for SmartDeploy.

Install the SmartDeploy Console

1. Create an account, navigate to https://www.smartdeploy.com and click Log In.
2. Review the Release Notes, and then click "Download Now" button to download SDESetup.exe.
   
3. Double-click SDESetup.exe, and then follow the prompts.
   Note: You may be prompted to install other components, such as WADK.
   After installation, a new folder structure will be created in C:\SmartDeploy.
4. When the SmartDeploy installation finishes you will be prompted to sign in. Enter the credentials of the account that you created at www.smartdeploy.com in step 1 and click OK. If you are installing SmartDeploy to create Distribution points substitute the host name of your primary SmartDeploy server for localhost in the SmartDeploy Api Service URL.
5. Then click OK.
