Required User Permissions

SmartDeploy requires elevated administrator permissions to run properly. This is due to the nature in which SmartDeploy interacts with the Operating System, Virtual Machines and Boot Media and is also a requirement for the Microsoft tools that the application utilizes. By default, an administrator account has all of the necessary permissions to run SmartDeploy. Revoking or altering the default account privileges may result in errors in the application.
